The Praying Ceremony at My New Home in Bangkok Boulevard Changwattana-Rachaphurk

After a decade of hard work, dedication, and unwavering determination, I finally achieved a dream that made me immensely proud – the purchase of my new home in the serene village of Bangkok Boulevard Changwattana-Rachaphurk (บางกอกบูเลอวาร์ด แจ้งวัฒนะ-ราชพฤกษ์).

This momentous occasion wasn’t just about acquiring a beautiful house; it was about creating a haven for my family, filled with love, joy, and blessings. To mark this special event, I decided to organize a traditional Thai praying ceremony that would not only bring auspiciousness to our home but also celebrate my mother’s 71st birthday.

Working hard isn’t just a choice; it’s a commitment to providing the best for my family. They are my inspiration, my motivation, and my reason to strive for excellence every day.”to get out again.

Chapter 1: The Significance of Our New Home My journey to acquiring this new home was a testament to hard work and perseverance. It symbolized a new chapter in my life, one filled with aspirations and dreams coming true. This house was more than just a structure; it was a place where my family would come together, where memories would be created, and where love would flourish.

Chapter 2: Honoring Tradition and Faith As a family of Buddhists, we believed in the importance of bringing blessings and positive energy to our new abode. To achieve this, we decided to invite nine monks to perform a traditional Thai praying ceremony, known as “บวชน้ำทิพย์” (Buat Nam Tip). This ceremony holds immense significance in Thai culture as it is believed to bring happiness and prosperity to the home.

Chapter 3: Celebrating Mom’s 71st Birthday The timing of the ceremony was extra special as it coincided with my beloved mother’s 71st birthday. She has been a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration throughout my life, and I wanted to make her proud on this memorable day.

Chapter 4: A Gathering of Hearts Our home became a hub of celebration as we invited our closest friends, my mom’s friends of over four decades, and our wonderful neighbors. It was heartwarming to see our community come together to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Chapter 5: The Unique Thai Traditions The ceremony featured various Thai traditions, including the mesmerizing “Hae Klong Yao” dance, a traditional Thai drum dance. The performers, adorned in beautiful Thai dresses, added a touch of cultural richness to the event. We also had traditional Thai dances that captivated our guests.

Chapter 6: The Offering of Blessings A crucial part of the ceremony was offering food to the monks and Buddhism, symbolizing our gratitude and respect for their blessings. This tradition has been passed down through generations in Thailand and is a gesture of goodwill and harmony.

Chapter 7: Blessings for the Future As the ceremony came to an end, the master monk performed a sacred ritual of “พระอภิวัชนานุภาพ” (Phra Apivanarup), which involved watering the area around our new home. This ritual is believed to bring auspiciousness and protection to the house and its inhabitants, ensuring a future filled with happiness and prosperity.

Conclusion: The praying ceremony at our new home in Bangkok Boulevard Changwattana-Rachaphurk was not just a celebration of bricks and mortar but a testament to the values, traditions, and love that make a house a home. It was a day filled with blessings, joy, and the promise of a bright future for our family. As we embark on this new chapter, we carry with us the belief that our home will be a place of happiness and auspiciousness, not just today, but for many years to come.

Family is my ‘why,’ and hard work is my ‘how’ to ensure their happiness and prosperity.
